We wanted to help gain peoples confidence in the word "charity" so we are giving 100% of funds from the public to the cause!

I was so inspired by the charity: water model that I felt it made the most sense to mirror their approach for Canada as they are already doing it better than most. This, combined with time spent with the founder Scott Harrison, I decided to passionately join his audacious dream of bringing 100 million people clean water with the unique and simple dream of everyONE: water. charity: water's bold promise to the general public with their 100% giving model, their crisp brand, and their "dollars to projects", made them the best model for the every(\(\(\(1)NE: water movement and the foundation of the (1)NE: charity! Together our accountability to you the donor will help you gain trust in the word "charity" again! Here are three reasons I believe you will love our unique approach to charity, and why we are confident you will not hesitate to join the everyONE: water movement!

100% giving model

charity: water founder Scott Harrison knew that donors were always skeptical of how much of there money actually reached the people that needed it. The best way he knew how to win back their trust was to direct 100% of the funds donated from the public to the water projects helping the people that need it the most! He then would raise the funds to run the charity: from a group called the WELL which comprised of private donors that believed in his mission. It was at one of these events that I met Scott for the very first time in 2011!

Dollars to Projects

When you give to the everyONE: water movement, we will send you an email telling you where every dollar of your donation went to work through pictures, GPS coordinates, and a story of the lives you changed! This is what it is like to keep your stakeholders up-to-date rather than just continuing to ask them for more money. They will only email you to update you on the progress of your water project!

Most of us have never really been thirsty. We've never had to leave our houses and walk five miles to fetch water. We simply turn on the tap, and water comes out. Clean. Yet there are 800 million people on the planet who don't have clean water.

It's hard to imagine what 800 million people looks like really, but one in nine might be easier. One in nine people in our world doesn't have access to the most basic of human needs. Something we can't imagine going 12 hours without.

We'd like to introduce you to a few of those 800 million. They are very real, and they need our help. They didn't choose to be born into a village where the only source of water is a polluted swamp. And we didn't choose to be born in a country where even the homeless have access to clean water and a toilet.

We invite you to put yourself in their shoes. Follow them on their daily journey. Carry 80 pounds of water in yellow fuel cans. Dig with their children in sand for water. Line up at a well and wait eight hours for a turn.

Now, make a decision to help. We're not offering grand solutions and billion dollar schemes, but instead, simple things that work. Things like freshwater wells, rainwater catchments and sand filters. Let's bring every(\(\(\(1)NE: water!

(1)NE drop of hope
